Almost all the wand handles are like the other gear in Hogwarts Legacy; players have to get them randomly from chests hidden throughout the game. The Arrow – Pink Swirl Wand Handle is a wand handle where you must acquire it from a random drop.

The most natural way to find wand handles is to keep an eye on your mini-map for chests while exploring. Cast Revelio whenever a chest is in the vicinity to make them glow blue through walls. If the chest is hidden, either open the locked door with the Alohamora mini-game or solve the puzzle concealing it. As you get further in the game, you will be able to open more doors and chests, providing you more wand handles.

For those of you that know the certain wand handle you want and are impatient to have it, there’s a method to farm wand handles. There are chests in the game only drop wand handles, and they can be farmed by using save files. To do this, you make a save right outside the unopened chest and reload the save after opening it until the wand handle you want drops. Try it at any chest you find that gives a wand handle.

There is a chest in Hogwarts Castle that you can open at the start of the game to farm for the wand handle you want. Follow these instructions to find it:

  1. Fast travel to the Clock Tower Courtyard, Floo Flame.
  2. Turn around and go through the door by the floo flame.
  3. Cross the bridge that heads into the main part of the castle and take a right once inside.
  4. Follow the hall up a set of stairs, and you will see a frog statue at the base of a circular stair set.
  5. Select the frog statue, and you will be teleported to a room with a wand handle chest.
  6. Make a save at the chest before opening it, and reload after opening it until you receive the desired wand handle.

If I'm not working or spending time with the family I'm probably gaming. Some of my favorite recent games I've played are Far Cry 5, World of Warcraft Classic, and 7 Days to Die.

Did you try more than once? There are only a few dozen handles, so it’s possible you simply rolled the same one twice. We’ve tested this method on multiple machines and confirmed it works.
