eTABU Word Search Indie Shout Out

There are some puzzles that are timeless, Crosswords, Dot-to-Dots, Spot the Difference and Word Searches. So don’t go thinking that just because we’re living in an age of advanced technology that there isn’t enough time to start finding words in a grid and putting a ring around them. Even more importantly you can now do this on your mobile device with an app called eTABU Word Search developed by Softnauts.

As you’d probably expect eTABU Word Search tasks you with finding certain words in a grid of mostly random letters. If you find all the words you’re given the dopamine hit of completing the level, and you get to go ono the next grid and find the next set of words.

Softnauts eTABU Word search ScreenshoteTABU Word Search does have a slight twist in the gameplay that moves it away from your standard word search app. You don’t know the exact words that you need to find. You are only given a single letter, and an overall clue relating to all the words to set you on your way. The letter you’re given depends on the difficulty you’ve chosen, for example on easy you’re always given the first letter, while on medium and hard you are given the last letter or in some cases one of the middle letters.

There’s not many words to find, usually around 4-6 so each game goes pretty quickly, but there’s either shed-loads of levels or they randomly generate or something, not sure. So don’t worry about running out of word search grids.

eTABU Word Search is currently only available on the iOS but they are working diligently to bring this to you on Android devices as well.

Anyway, if you want to give Softnaut’s eTABU Word Search a go then all you need to do is follow this link and you can download it absolutely free from the apple store.
