How to Make Energy Mix +

While in your inventory, hover over the requisite plants (towards the bottom of the screen) and hit / to “combine” them; this will set them on the middle pad. Then go to the gear in the top right of the middle pad and press / again for your character to combine them into an energy mix +. If you don’t use it right away, the mix will be in your inventory on the left side, towards the bottom of all the other consumables.
